| Scoop Cone Finishing Touches |
1. Create a new image. Go to the Picture
Tube tool & search through the list until you find your cone.
Depending on your canvas size, you make need to re-size it. Place the cone
on the canvas and create 3 new layers behind your cone layer. Place
one scoop of ice-cream on each of these layers (I put them on separate
layers so that they are easier to rearrange using the Move tool).
Again, you may need to re-size them first. |
2. Create a new layer. Using the Freehand
Selection tool, draw around the top scoop & make some nice drippy
bits on the two bottom scoops. I'm going to make chocolate sauce, so I
select a chocolatey brown (e.g. R:110 G:48 B:20) & flood fill the
selection. |
3. Create a new layer. Choose a darker
brown colour (e.g. R:81 G:35 B:15)& use the Airbrush tool with
a Size of about 10 & Opacity around 60 to add a bit of
shadow. When you've drawn in the shadow, apply a Gaussian Blur with
a Radius of 5. |
4. Create a new layer & choose white as
your foreground colour. Keeping the Airbrush change it's Size
to 5 & add some highlights. |
5. Apply a Gaussian Blur with a Radius
of 4 to the highlights. You now have your ice-cream with sauce on it. How
you decorate it is up to you, but I have some ideas on the next page. |
