1. Minimise your tree for the time being. Create a new image, 400x400 pixels, with a transparent background. Go to File/Preferences/General Program Preferences....
Click on the tab that says Rulers and Units. Make both the Horizontal
and Vertical spacing 100. Ok the settings, then go to View
and click on Grid. A grid will now appear on your canvas - this will
make it easier to make the tube. |
2. Change your foreground colour to a light
pink, I used#FFB2D3. Select the Airbrush Tool.
Keep the same settings as before with the tree, only make the size a bit smaller, about 10 & turn the Hardness down to 0. Dot the pinks randomly around the canvas. |
3. Choose a slightly darker pink & make the Size of the airbrush a little smaller. Dot this randomly as well. Continue in this way with different sizes & shades of pink until the canvas looks a little like this (I have shown it up against a white background to make it easier to see) |
4. Your Blossom tube is ready to be
exported. Go to File/Export/Picture Tube.... Use the settings shown
adjacent & give your tube a name. |
6. Maximise your tree image. Create a new Raster layer . Click on the Picture Tube tool. Select your Blossom tube. Set the Scale to about 10. Spray the blossoms on to the ends of the branches. |
Your bonsai is finished. |
